Community Christian Events
The Miramichi Historical Society invites you to an evening celebrating "Women of Inspiration" on Friday, March 20th at 7pm at the United Church on King George Highway. Three women from Miramichi past: Henrietts Ball Banting, Rosebud Crocker, and Lillian Croft will be featured, and three present day women who work in similar occupations will speak briefly about their careers. This event is free and open to the general public. Light refreshments will follow.
Ecumenical Lenten Services are being held at St. Mary's Anglican Church each Wednesday during Lent from 12:15pm to 12:45pm .
A light lunch will follow the service.
A donation of $5.00 for the lunch is suggested. Profits after the expenses for the lunch are paid will go to Jeremy's Mission.
